scientists conclude no scientific explanation for shroud of turin

scientists conclude no scientific explanation for shroud of turinfrom whtc: Italian researchers concluded Wednesday that there is no scientific explanation for the image that appears on the Shroud of Turin. For believers, the Shroud of Turin is thought to have on it a chemical copy of the face of Jesus Christ. In 2006, the National Agency for New Technologies, Energy and Sustainable Economic Development had believed the imprint on the cloth to have been created by an “ultraviolet flash of light.” Further research by the agency was necessary to investigate the fact that ultraviolet technology was not available during that time period. As a result, after 5 years of research and experiments, the agency has concluded that the image is not the result of any process known to modern world. Additionally, the study showed that imprint left on the shroud may have been created by an intense light source, but no manmade source could have produced the strength required to leave the image. The new information doesn’t prove, however, that the Shroud of Turin is an imprint by Jesus, but supporters are likely to take the research as proof of divine power.
